In F major till the end of time

As I may have mentioned umptyzillion times by now, I’m putting together the music for a new CD, Meditations of My Heart, with arrangements of hymns and spiritual songs and some originals too.
Recently I’ve arranged 2 hymns I wasn’t originally planning to include, and I love both arrangements, so they’re in.
They’re also both in F major.
And this week I composed an original, that I am totally in love with, which I’m titling The Prayer. And guess what?! It’s in F major.
If you were to ask me, I would not say that F major is my favorite key. (I’m not sure what my favorite key is, come to think of it.) It’s also not my un-favorite.
But when I get into an F major mood, I can’t get out of it. And I’m apparently really & truly in it now.
Which is just as well, since I’ve been toying around with Down to the River to Pray for a while now and … it’s in F major! Maybe I’ll get it just so, and it can be on the CD too.
